The Day of Union
Being one, with so many, with the Oneness!
Celebrating one day like this is Christmas. A day to live fully immersioned in our inner self and sharing good vibes with other fellows.
We would not need to have a day to remember to feel so close, so united, but as we celebrate every year our birthday, we do have to take at least one day in a year to take time for our soul, feed our spirit and feel connected deeply at a very subtle level.
Of course, this celebration can become a commercial spotlight for yoga schools and teachers… who is the best, let’s go! Spreading business cards everywhere and take advantage of the openess of numerous yogis available at listening new “gurus” and new “styles”.
But if we rake all this dirt, all the good intentions remains and we can give more energy and dedication to those thoughts which are more important and relevant.
I took the chance to teach yoga at various Yoga Day editions, since 2015, starting the day at 7.30am with Sun Salutation and singing kirtans open air in squares, or on floating platforms and in the beautiful frame of some ancient churches.
It was wonderful to watch all these people with their yoga mats and very coloured clothes and bags, practising in unison!
That is Yoga, entering in a flow of energy and vibes, perceiving the Oneness and letting go everything else that doesn’t belong to you.
No stress, no tireness. Just Joy and Love.
And when you really feel it deeply, you cannot talk of New Age style. Far from superficial attitude, starts the deepest, authentic connection and bliss.
This year I decided to participate as Massage Therapist, giving complimentary treatments, and I will try to use the same vocation and strenght and apply these principles in all the treatments.
Furthermore I will sing kirtans at the end of the yoga day, all together with teachers and participants at the event.
HAPPY YOGA DAY TO EVERYONE
STAY TUNED, STAY YOGIED
